Learn To Format A Pen Drive Using CMD

Formating a Pendrive  by Command Prompt is very easy .

You only have to just follow some basic steps for formatting a Pendrive Or USB Drive.

This method is commonly used when the Pendrive is not be able to format by normal method (right click on Pendrive or USB Drive and choose format) or when there is a virus in the Pendrive and by normal format, the virus is not deleting complete from the Pendrive .
So here are some steps below to formatting  the USB Drive or pendrive drive using command prompt.

1. Firstly you have to insert Pen Drive into your PC or Laptop 

2. Secondly, Find the Pen Drive letter like. G:,H:,J:,I: ,etc.

3. Then Click on Start > Run > Type Cmd and click on OK.

4. Then after you click on Ok, Command Prompt window will appear , then type format “your USB Drive letter like i:” then press Enter.

5. Hit Enter and Wait for some time until Command prompt verify the file system, then hit Enter Again
.

6. Relax until the format is completed.

7. After successful formatting it will show success message.
